The park is wonderful. Big family gatherings with loud television all day and shouting to each-other. They seem to "own" the place. However silence after 10 p.m. The regulations are quite clear, but one cannot complain anywhere as everything was closed even during this busy season. We were lucky to had a reserved site rather far from the crowd, who prefer the sites on the lake side. We had enough shadow. We would not stay here again due to the nuisance of other campers, who react rather rude when I made a remark about their TV.

Very helpful staff. My laptop had a technical connection problem. They allowed me to sit on the desk in their office and use their machine; good service! The swimming pool is very nice and warm. The restrooms and showers are extra-ordinary clean. The showers however are very sparing with hot water, which is less comfortable. The back-in places are spacious with concrete platforms. Lot of permanent residents in big expensive motorhomes and 5th wheels (not older than 10 years allowed....) Price is high, but they offer a lot more than the average KOA camping with the same price level or even higher, incl. a well equipped fitness room.

We were not used to stay in a National Park in a village, complete with lots of houses, cars, shops, etc, but in Canada this appears to be normal. The camping ground was huge. Though we had a reservation made 5 months ago, we were treated like any arrival with no reservation and put in line like in an "ordinary" commercial RV park. We saw lots, lots of Colombian ground squirrels and that's really fantastic to watch; no need of any TV program. There were deer in the camp with little ones and they were rather aggressive to people and even more to dogs. We were warned by other campers not to approach them. One lady was attacked the other day, walking her dog, which was considered by the deer as a threat. For a National Park rather expensive.

It is a very basic trailer park actually. There are dirt gravel roads for non-regulars. There are lot of trailers with permanent campers. Showers have a code lock, but are not well maintained, nor clean. There were empty body wash bottles and soap. There is lots of noise caused by the free-way and railway, which lasts day and night. There is a friendly and helpful host. Note: the five promised falls in the Missouri River appear to be artificial and locals call them "The damned falls..." Area of camping ground very depressive!

Beautiful, especially when weather is OK. We had lots of rain during our stay and the forest is getting very dirty and wet. Extended supermarket and gift shop. Good laundry with friendly assistance present for help. Many sites are not level. We were not able to level our motorhome. Restrooms are basic, but clean.

This is definitely one of the most attractive camping grounds we have ever seen. In the middle of Capitol Reef NP with lots of trails starting right on or within a 100 yards from the camping. The price is ridiculous and fire wood is free. We saw many wild deer on the camping close to us. The fellow campers are all very quiet and enjoy nature. The (female) ranger organizes various activities as campfire and community singing incl. lectures in the amphitheater theater. We could have stayed here longer if we had not such a tight schedule.

We had a reservation for a deluxe lot and it was really "deluxe" with a concrete floor (thus: no mud in front of the entrance when raining)and enough space to sit. We were lucky to have the first deluxe site, so free view and not the side of the rig of your neighbor. Only a few miles from the village, which is easy for shopping and close to the west entrance of Yellowstone National Park, too. The swimming pool looked fine, but was always crowded with youth, that is obvious during the season. This is an excellent family camping ground. No lamentation about the price; just pay it and forget.

This is a huge campground. The traffic on the highway disturbs quite a lot the ambiance. The site we had was level. Most sites we saw were level, too. If one does not make a reservation in time, only dry camping is possible; the hook-ups are limited. We were warned for elk on the campground. They could be aggressive at this time of the year. Therefore we were surprised to find out, that the showers were at the entrance only! This was at least 2 miles from our site. Walking in the dark with a small flash-light does not seem to be such a good idea with wildlife around. We recommend this campground anyway for a stay in Jasper.

The park was rather a mess. We had a reservation for a large spot, but they "advised" us another "much nicer site", as we needed only 30 Amps. The large place was a bit more expensive, but this was never an issue for us. The new site was one of many all next to each-other pull-thru and shady. The large site had no shade at all. Then a big shovel was coming and going all the time with rubbish. When we asked how long this would go on they said that they had no idea; they were not KOA personnel, but doing some job. It was Saturday and we asked about Sunday. The answer:"We guess not, but we don't know." The disturbance went on till about 7 pm. On Sunday (Father's Day) we couldn't believe it, but they started working again! Anyway not too long. On Monday morning a bunch of laborers made a lot of noise at 6 a.m. starting pick-ups, which were parked in some parking lot on the camping ground next to our RV. Two positive issues I want to mention about this camping ground: a) Next to the entrance of Wells Gray, which is a fabulous provincial park with lots of wild life, especially black bears! b) A more than average camping restaurant, where we enjoyed a tasteful diner in a friendly ambiance.

We loved this campground due to the ambiance. Sites are spacious with lots of shade. Separate camping areas for larger motorhomes, smaller RV's and tents. Strict rules for use of generators (and the host checks personally!). One can walk easily to the rim on the campground. During daytime the shuttle stops at the entrance of the campground for visiting Sunset and Sunrise point and the other outlooks. Staying on a campground like this is so much preferable to a RV-park. Don't forget to make the reservation in time. You do not have to drive around in circles and find out after three rounds, that every site has been reserved or occupied. We have seen these poor fellows both evenings!

This is actually a large forest of firs, so the name of the RV Park covers the situation exactly! We stayed here for 2 nights. The place was deserted and we saw 2 other overnight campers. The owners were very friendly and helpful. The main building is very, very old, but the restrooms and showers were clean and well maintained. They have only a few back-in places with limited hook-up (no sewer), but dumping is easy. If you want to use satellite TV, avoid the shady part of the park. We chose this place to visit Mt.St.Helens, but the road was still closed as the bridge had been washed away some months ago. Mainly for that reason most guests had canceled their reservations. The camping is located next to the highway, but before you know, you miss the entrance and have to make a U-turn. If we ever go to this area again, we will definitely stay here.

We booked a site on the outer ring several months before we would arrive. If we wouldn't have done so, the park would have been full, even in June! e were lucky to obtain a front-in site, so we could enjoy the view of huge cruise-ships every night. This is opposite of the bay-view. The sites are small and narrow. As the front-in and back-in are situated next to each-other, we almost leave our motorhome on neighbor's soil.... We were lucky to get very friendly neighbors. We stayed here for 3 nights; they for 5 weeks (and they did this for many years already). The main reason for choosing this park is the location, which is by far the best location for visiting Victoria. We walked all the way. Almost next to the entrances a boardwalk starts and we made a wonderful walk to the bridge, crossed it and were in the center of Victoria; half an hour, that's all. We also tried to take the water taxi back, but we were refused in a rude manner by the captain, as my wife was wheel-chair bounded and he judged it would be to difficult; he simply left us and I had to push the wheelchair up the hill again. We took the bus # 6 and arrived close to the camping site. On Sunday morning we wanted to leave at 8:00 to catch the early ferry and still had to wait another 15 minutes for checking out. (the waiter of the restaurant woke her up with his handy phone and offered us a free coffee; great hospitality of this guy!) Summary: It is the best place for visiting Victoria. The sites are small and narrow. There is no privacy at all. Make sure to reserve a site suitable for your size of rig. Only sites on outer circle of the campground are nice but not the back-in sites due to a total lack of a view.

The park is very clean and nice looking. The entrance is rather narrow and one has to drive the rig very carefully. The restrooms and showers are very old but clean. The mountain view is astonishing. We had a very much "Rambo experience" as Rambo First Blood was shot in these mountains and in the city of Hope. The camping is surrounded by busy highways and there is traffic noise on both sides. The area of Hope is beautiful. The Rambo trail in the city is very disappointing. They refer to the sites where the movie was shot, but you can hardly recognize a place, as most has been destroyed or changed. The owner and his wife are very nice and hospitable.

Very difficult to find. Our navigation system (Tom Tom) guided us to a no-thru road about 10 miles east of the park! We did some inquiry ("There must be a trailer-park somewhere at the border, I guess..." was the help we got). When we arrived, we were surprised by the quality of this park, so clean and well organized! A very friendly owner who offered us free chairs, left by guests, who did not take them home. It was a pity, we could not use the swimming pool, as it was painted this particular day. Further is was raining cats and dogs all day, so we stayed in the motorhome. The campground was full so a reservation is absolutely necessary for this place. The sites are rather small and there is no privacy at all.

This is one of the few extra-ordinary places to be. This State Park is easy to find, but before you know you are driven to far and after a lot of miles you can return (our RV is 32'). They have only 7 sites with full hook-up and 6 of them were reserved. We did not know that reservation was possible and were very lucky with a beautiful site almost on top of a small hill. The pull-thru place offered a beautiful outlook on three sides on the lake. If you want to swim or go on the water with a boat or so, ask for a place on the lake side on the lower part of the camping ground. We enjoyed the sunset and sunrise with a splendid half covered sky; like an natural artwork! We can recommend this place to anyone.

In the middle of the park. Very quiet. Beautiful natural surrounding. Shuttle available to Sherman Tree, which is a few miles up south. For big rigs not accessible from the south due to steep and narrow winding road (#198), but only accessible for rigs bigger than 24 feet from the #120. When heading for Bakersfield, go back north and then drive to Bakersfield.

It is next to the freeway LA-Las Vegas. A noisy place due to traffic. Good wifi. There is a very small pool with no shady areas. Rather narrow sites, especially when using slide-out and awning. When windy, there is lots of dust everywhere, which is logical in the middle of the desert.

This a full-hook-up parking lot. Close to North Las Vegas with a lot of homeless people camping along the road. Still a safe feeling due to numerous armed guards, who patrol day and night on the camping. Traffic noise acceptable as the place is in town. Two blocks from Fremont Street. The food in the Hotel is absolutely great and cheap. We enjoyed the Champagne Brunch for $ 11.50 each. Price for camping is a bargain compared to Circus Circus! We stayed for two nights.

Quiet place in natural surrounding. Many trees and shadow, but sunshine in the morning, too. Good access for big rigs.
